What is Mototo?

Mototo is a peer-to-peer delivery app. Riders request a pickup, nearby couriers accept the job, and both sides can track the delivery in real time. Payments use MotoCash, our in-app balance.

Requirements

  • Device: iPhone
     
  • iOS: 16.0 or later
     
  • Permissions: Location (While Using the App) and Notifications (recommended)
     
  • Network: Reliable cellular or Wi-Fi
     

Getting started

For Riders

  1. Create an account and verify your email.
     
  2. Place an order: enter pickup & drop-off, review the estimate, confirm.
     
  3. Track live: watch your courier on the map with real-time status.
     
  4. Receipt & rating: after drop-off, view the total and rate your delivery.
     

For Couriers

  1. Sign in to the Mototo Courier app.
     
  2. Tap Listen for New Delivery to receive requests.
     
  3. Accept, navigate pickup → drop-off, mark Picked Up and Delivered.
     
  4. Your MotoCash earnings update after delivery.
     

FAQs

Orders & tracking

Where is my courier?
Open the active order; the map shows live courier location and status.

Can I cancel an order?
Orders in Pending can be canceled in-app. Once In Progress, cancellation policies apply—see Terms.

Payments & MotoCash

How do I add funds?
Go to Wallet → Add MotoCash and follow the prompts.

When do I see the final cost?
The final total appears on the receipt right after delivery.

Ratings

Can I change my rating?
Email support within 24 hours with your Order ID and we’ll help.

Account & data

How do I delete my account or request my data?
Email privacy@themototo.com with the email tied to your account and “Data Request” in the subject.

Troubleshooting (iOS)

I’m not getting notifications (courier or rider)

  1. Settings → Mototo → Notifications → Allow (Banners, Sounds).
     
  2. Disable Focus / Do Not Disturb.
     
  3. Settings → General → Background App Refresh → On for Mototo.
     
  4. Turn off Low Power Mode temporarily.
     
  5. Log out/in and (for couriers) toggle Listen for New Delivery.
     
  6. Reinstall if the issue persists.
     

My map is blank or not updating

  1. Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Mototo → While Using the App.
     
  2. Check your network connection.
     
  3. Keep the app active during navigation.
     
  4. Restart your iPhone and try again.
     

Safety & prohibited items

For safety and legal compliance, some items cannot be delivered. If you’re unsure whether an item is allowed, contact support before placing an order. If something seems unsafe during a delivery, call local authorities first.
